Kathryn March, M.S., CEP, has worked for more than 18 years in the fields of education and career counseling. She has been an independent consultant since June 2007. Before that time, she worked as a high school counselor, serving as Director of Counseling at a high school in Williamson County, Tennessee. She also spent eight years in the career counseling field. Ms. March has a passion to work with high school students and young adults to help them find both their best fit in post-secondary education and develop a career direction. Ms. March has worked with individuals of all ability levels and interests and understands the dynamics of making decisions about “what to do after high school” and "what type of career should I pursue?" She is committed to the belief that each individual has a unique set of talents, abilities and interests that can be enriched and developed with the proper guidance. She is familiar with the complexities of choosing a college and provides invaluable guidance in navigating the admissions process. Additionally, she is certified to administer career assessments and has spent many years helping young adults choose appropriate career paths. Committed to professional development, Ms. March regularly attends conferences and seminars to keep current on the latest trends and expectations in college admissions and career development. She is a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association and a member of the National Association of College Admissions Counselors, the American Counseling Association, the Higher Education Consultants Association and The National Career Development Association. Additionally, Ms. March regularly visits colleges and universities and has personally visited more than 100 campuses. Having had two children graduate from college, Ms. March understands how grueling the college application and decision process can be. As both a student of students and a student of colleges, she can help make the transition from high school to college a pleasant and fulfilling journey. When working with young adults, Ms. March provides excellent career advice and helps individuals match their passions, abilities, values, and interests to a career direction.
